I've Heard of Spoiled Rotten but Never Little Emperors

Issues are everywhere. There's no way to get around it. Issues in the government, issues in the schools, issues in the work place, issues at home. Issues are world-wide, and the sad fact of it all is: there is no way to fix them all and make everyone happy. So what do we all do? We sit around on blogspot are talk about them. Not do anything about it, but just talk about it. And that is exactly what I am doing. That's what the person sitting next to me right now is doing, too. Go figure.

But I don't really want to talk about the quiet people sitting next to me. I want to talk about this little thing called Little Emperor Syndrome. It's a new name for an old thing Grandma like to call "spoiled rotten" and loving every minute of it. Thirty years ago, China's government set up a new law called the "One Child Policy." It was designed to stop the extreme over-population in China. Make it illegal for a mama to have more than one kid and she might think twice the next time she and Daddy are alone. It's a serious thing, no matter how silly it might sound.

The real silly part is how all these only children in China are being spoiled. And this is what my Blog is all about. The adverse effects of the Chinese One Child Policy.

It's becoming quite an epidemic in China. All the these wealthy parents with only one child to provide for are spoiling them so much that The Doctors of the World actually needed to come up with a "syndrome" to describe just how unbelievably spoiled these children are.
